One Love - Twyla Joi and Nicole Camacho-Albert 03/29/2022

Dear All,

We completed a project with singer songwriter Twyla Joi and our founder, flutist, Nicole Lana Camacho-Albert for the Uniondale Public Library late summer of 2021 and want to share it with you. The musicians worked together with a producer Leuca to create a new version of ONE LOVE by Bob Marley with words from his daughter Cedella Marley's book . We created this for a virtual event honoring Grand Families! The video was filmed by Bob Albert Creative Works at Selfie Clubhouse.

Our next Music Unboxed project will involve creating a community choir! Stay tuned!

Much love!

One Love - Twyla Joi and Nicole Camacho-Albert One Love by Bob Marley with adapted lyrics from Cedella Marley's children's book "One Love". Twyla Joi - VocalsNicole Camacho-Albert - FluteLeuca - Producer/...

Make Music New York has many sister events happening through out the country as a part of Make Music Day celebrations. 10 years of Make Music New York and I think this says they've added 17 cities?! Must give it up for these beautiful people looking to create unique musical experiences where communities can dive into the arts. :0)

In the ten years Make Music New York has been celebrated here in NYC, dozens of other citywide musical celebrations have sprung up across the country each year on Make Music Day. This year saw 17 new cities (and two entire states!) join the fold. Representatives from MMNY got together this past weekend in Fort Wayne, IN and met with representatives from a dozen other cities to talk about new ways to spread joy and music on June 21st and beyond. It was a great weekend, and it wouldn't have been possible without Sweetwater! Sweetwater are not only a great resource when you're looking for instruments and sound equipment, they're a great presence in the Fort Wayne community and a champion for musicians and their work everywhere. It's a great feeling to see close up so many great people working to share their love and creativity!

"Do we cut the art and keep the science?"
Check out video of Neil deGrasse Tyson, an American Scientist/ Astrophysicist, declaring the importance of Art Education in America! It's true: As we save our money to go on tours in Europe to enjoy culture, art, and music, How can we say the arts do not matter?!

Despite the Rain, PAMM's Dimensions Performance Dazzled 12/10/2015

Perez Art Museum Miami Performance Art Piece by Ryan McNamara and Devonté Hynes (AKA Blood Orange): "As you made your way through the Pérez Art Museum Miami last night, you encountered small stages peppered about. Each mini-stage came complete with a musician riffing away, and a dancer making sound visible through movement."

Despite the Rain, PAMM's Dimensions Performance Dazzled One of the most anticipated Museum events during Miami Art Week, PAMM Presents: Dimensions Variable with Ryan McNamara and Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange), was under threat of heavy rain.
