Meet Ana Vergara (M.A., luxury and brand management; B.F.A., advertising and branding, 2025), a multidisciplinary creative from Puebla, Mexico🌞🤭

After graduating from SCAD this spring, she moved to New York City, where she is now a Creative Strategy Intern at Corner Table Creative🍎🏙️

At SCAD, Ana gained hands-on experience through two SCADpro collaborations with Rhino Hospitality and Philosophy, an internship with Good Light Cosmetics, and roles as a SCAD content creator, museum docent, and SCAD ambassador.

These experiences fueled her passion for blending creativity and strategy across brands, industries, and ideas💕💕 We are so proud!

Meet Jessy Zimmer (B.F.A., fashion), who is spending her summer as a Print & Pattern Intern at Anthropologie🪡✍️

This summer, Jessy is helping build trend books and concept decks, carefully curating imagery, color, and storytelling to create emotional, compelling concepts that stay true to the Anthropologie brand🎨

She credits SCAD’s senior fashion courses with preparing her to confidently pitch ideas and present herself as a creative professional, while her senior concept books and process work helped her stand out during the interview process.

Her advice? ❤️‍🔥Be pickier than you think you need to be. Whether it’s your portfolio or your interviews, finding a team that understands your creative process and shares your excitement can make all the difference.

🪽🪽Meet Janaya Francis (B.F.A., fashion marketing and management), who is spending her summer as a Retail & E-Commerce Intern at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York🍎🏙️

This summer, Janaya is collaborating on retail and e-commerce initiatives, attending cross-functional meetings, exploring MoMA’s galleries and departments, and contributing to exciting projects while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s leading cultural institutions.

Her favorite part? Touring the galleries and learning how different teams across the museum work together🤭

Her advice? 👩‍💻Tailor your resume to each opportunity, make the most of career advising and interview prep, and remember that the skills you build at SCAD can take you across industries☺️

This summer, Houston is working alongside the design team while gaining hands-on experience in the jewelry-making process—from developing designs to working directly with materials in the studio. Every day is an opportunity to refine craftsmanship, build technical skills, and learn what it takes to bring exceptional jewelry to life.

Her advice? ✨ Start earlier, apply everywhere, and don’t be scared of rejection👏

Spend a day with SCAD student Brayden Wisniewski (B.F.A., user experience design) as he takes us behind the scenes of his summer as a Design Intern at IBM in Austin, Texas!🤠

From morning standups and designing alongside his team to lunch walks around campus, follow along for a glimpse into a day in the life of a UX design intern. This summer, Brayden has been gaining hands-on experience designing digital products, collaborating across teams, and learning what it takes to create thoughtful, user-centered experiences🧑‍💻

His advice for future interns? Stay curious, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to reach out to people. Some of the best opportunities come from making connections and saying yes to new experiences👏👏

Meet Rose Gillooly (B.F.A., fibers), who is spending her summer as a Material Design Intern at Nike👟🤭

This summer, Rose is developing a design project she’ll present at the end of her internship while refining her storytelling skills and collaborating with Nike’s design teams. Working in Nike’s design studio has been her favorite part of the experience, giving her a firsthand look at how ideas evolve from concept to product through collaboration✍️

Her advice? ☺️Start applying early, don’t get discouraged by rejection, and keep going. Every application is a step toward the opportunity that’s meant for you.

Introducing Ainsley Tobler (B.F.A., illustration, 2026), who is spending her summer as a Print, Pattern & Color Design Intern with Anthropologie Home at URBN🌸🎨

This summer, Ainsley has been developing original prints and patterns for both her intern project and real Anthropologie Home products while supporting the day-to-day work of the print team. She’s learning from industry professionals, strengthening her design skills, and gaining firsthand experience bringing artwork to life in a fast-paced creative environment.
