Attention SAA community! Savannah Arts Academy has a long history of hosting exchange students from abroad, with at least 45 kids bringing their countries and cultures to SAA since 2015.

Ms. Connie Polk, who has led much of this initiative, is seeking additional host families for the 2026-27 school year. Hosting an exchange student is a wonderful opportunity for global understanding and a richer experience for the families and the students. 1: The PTSA meeting originally scheduled for tonight, April 14, has been postponed to Tuesday April 28th at 6pm via Zoom. Further details to follow closer to that date.

2: As we approach the end of the 2025-26 school year, we're already looking ahead to the next one. As such, we are actively seeking new volunteers to join our PTSA leadership team. It was a festival of green for the inaugural “Try Your Luck” pizza party outside Savannah Arts Academy on Friday the 13th! Hundreds of students and staff celebrated the start of a long St. Patrick’s Day weekend with food, drinks, and festive beads.

This will be a great event for the school! Volunteers are needed.

The PTSA held a very successful “Prospective Parents Corner” during today’s audition day. We welcomed several hundred parents and students with donuts, coffee, and a chance for conversations with current SAA parents and students to further support understanding of life at Savannah Arts. Tomorrow is the SAA audition day! We extend our best wishes to all students auditioning for the 2026-2027 school year.

The PTSA invites parents to meet in the cafeteria after dropping off their students, and refreshments will be provided. The entrance to the cafeteria is on the left side of the school's main entrance. Kindly share this information with parents of auditioning students.

The PTSA meeting is scheduled for 6pm tonight in the performance hall; we look forward to sharing our plans for the remainder of the school year. We hope to see you there!!
