BIG NEWS FOR THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST!

Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy is officially coming to Lynn Meadows Discovery Center!

Beginning Monday, September 28, I’ll be teaching a six week etiquette series designed to help children become more confident, comfortable, respectful, and socially prepared for the real world.

Classes will be held every Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM for ages 7 to 13.

Six week tuition is $200.

And no, this is not six weeks of sitting quietly while I lecture children about forks.

Students will actually practice the skills they are learning through conversations, activities, real life situations, games, dining practice, worksheets, social challenges, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence.

Throughout the six weeks, we will work on things like introductions, eye contact, conversation skills, joining a group, kindness, respect, handling awkward social situations, apologies, compliments, friendships, dining etiquette, table manners, posture, social confidence, and knowing how to carry yourself in different situations.

I want children to understand that etiquette is not about being perfect or fancy. It is about knowing how to make other people feel comfortable while also having the confidence to walk into a room and know how to handle yourself.

I am incredibly excited to bring Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy to Lynn Meadows Discovery Center and open another opportunity for Gulf Coast families to participate.

Just a little reminder for anyone who still has a balance for etiquette classes.

Most of our current sessions have officially wrapped up, with the exception of our Gulfport class, and I still have a few outstanding payments.

If you still owe for classes, please send your payment when you are able so I can get everything closed out for this session. I completely understand that life gets busy and things can slip your mind, so this is simply a friendly reminder.

Thank you so much to every family who participated, supported Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy, and trusted me with your children. I have truly loved having them in class.

Tonight was our FINAL Wiggins class for this session, and I cannot believe how fast these six weeks went.These kids made me laugh, kept me on my toes, surprised me, and made me so proud as I watched their confidence grow week after week.Tonight we finished with our final dinner, and they got to put everything together. Table manners, conversation, posture, kindness, confidence, introductions, dining skills, and all those little things we practiced that make such a BIG difference. Six weeks ago, we were learning names, handshakes, eye contact, and how to walk into a room with confidence. Tonight, I got to sit back and watch them use what they learned.
Wiggins, thank you so much for trusting Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy with your children. I truly loved this group, and I am so proud of each one of them. Jamie Michelle Davis Howe thank you for opening your dance studio to me!! I am so extremely grateful for your kindness!!!

Registration is NOW OPEN for our next Wiggins session beginning at the end of September.

Our next session will include:

Ages 7 to 13

Six weeks of classes

One class each week

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

$200 for the full six week session

Students will work on confidence, kindness, conversation skills, introductions, table manners, dining etiquette, social skills, and so much more.

Friendly payment reminder for Wildflower Society families.

As we wrap up this session, please make sure any remaining class balances are paid before the final class.

Thank you so much for helping me keep everything organized as we finish out this session. I have truly enjoyed having your children in class and watching their confidence grow each week.

Gulfport families, we are back tomorrow for Class 5 out of 6!

This is our make up class from the evening we cancelled because of the bad weather that thankfully decided not to show up after all. I would much rather cancel and have sunshine than take a chance with our kiddos, so thank you again for understanding!

Tomorrow we will finish up Class 5, and then next Monday is our FINAL CLASS and dinner!

Ocean Springs and Wiggins families, your dinner nights are coming up too THIS WEEK, so go ahead and get those Sunday best outfits ready!

For dinner night, the children do not need to bring anything except themselves, dressed in their Sunday best and ready to put everything they have learned into practice. The dinner is part of their class experience, so just like our regular classes, this will be for the students only and parents will drop off and return at the end of class.
I want them to have the chance to walk in, sit down, order, converse, dine and use their manners independently without looking over at Mom or Dad for reassurance. That little bit of independence is part of the fun and a big part of building their confidence!
I cannot believe we are already this close to the end of our first six weeks. I am SO excited to see these kids put everything together at dinner!

Y’ALL, REGISTRATION IS OPEN AGAIN.

The next round of Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy classes will be starting at the end of September, and I am SO excited to get another group going.

These classes are not stiff, boring, sit there and memorize which fork to use kind of classes. We work on real life confidence, conversation skills, introductions, kindness, respect, dining etiquette, social situations, how to carry yourself, how to speak to people, and all those little things that help a child walk into a room and feel like they belong there.

If you have been thinking about signing your child up, this is your sign to go ahead and do it.

Classes will begin at the end of September and spots are limited.

Due to the storm rolling into our area, Wildflower Society Etiquette Academy class is canceled for this evening.

I never want anyone having to drive in unsafe weather, especially with our children in the car. Everyone’s safety comes first.

I’ll be in touch with families regarding our schedule and any makeup plans. Thank you so much for understanding, and please stay safe tonight!

Did you know I offer private, one on one etiquette lessons? Dining etiquette lessons can even take place at a restaurant, allowing you to learn and practice each skill during a real meal.
