Free Event: "Secrets of the Soul" Thurs. 5/14, 3pm. In ancient texts, the soul is described as the "spiritual traveler." During a muti-media presentation, you will learn about the theoretical spectrum of the Soul, and the many phases it experiences beyond physical life.
Comparisons between Eastern and Western traditions will show
many similarities during the Soul's journey. "The Tibetan Book of the Dead" will be explained as a guide for the Soul.
Psychologist Michael Newton's "afterlife map" will be reviewed. This map represents the condensed experiences of over 7,000 patients during hypnotic past-life regressions. Newton wrote three books on this subject.

Free! Thurs. 4/9: Mysterious Cycles Above & Below - Many ‘near-death experiencers’ have attained new knowledge and a deep understanding of the laws of the universe. According to Aldous Huxley ("The Perennial Philosophy"):
"There is a Great Law known as: Life Cycles - Above and Below. This includes our individual life cycle that (theoretically) continues into the afterlife."
Please join us for a multi-media program that will focus on our individual life cycle, and the next proposed phase of existence. Excerpts from an uplifting film will exemplify the topics presented.

Free! "The Second Half of Life," Thurs. 3/12, 3pm-4:20pm at Selby Library. Imagine meeting your younger "self" during childhood.
1) Would you be happy to see "little you?"
2) What advice would you offer?
3) Would it be helpful or harmful to divulge the future?
We will view a story of idealism, beliefs and ambitions of youth, and how these causes led to meaningful effects during the 2nd half of life.
Accordingly, NDErs have seen "lifelines" of their past and future selves. Soon, they began to understand life as a whole and realize the importance of completing the lifecycle.
