This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who gave everything for our country and the families who carry their legacy forward. 🇺🇸 Stage Door Studios is closed today as we honor their sacrifice.

Snuggly Supporter Week is coming to Stage Door! 🧸

During our final week of classes, dancers of ALL ages are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to class to be their special audience member for our final week of recital practice before taking the stage ✨

We thought this would be such a fun and sweet way to celebrate the final week of classes before recital week officially begins 🥹🩰

Senior Spotlight 🤍

Maddie Medford is a beautiful example of both strength and grace. Her athleticism, paired with her elegance and powerful storytelling, makes her such a captivating performer to watch on stage.

Beyond inspiring her teammates, Maddie has also been someone our younger dancers look up to throughout the years. She leads through both her talent and the way she carries herself, and we know the impact she has made within our studio will continue long after graduation.

After graduation, Maddie will be heading to University of Florida where she will be studying Elementary Education and Dance.

We know she is going to make an incredible teacher, and we are so proud of all that is ahead for her! ✨

💛 Last night, we hosted our annual JFAC Banquet honoring the incredible young leaders who pour so much love, encouragement, patience, and positivity into the next generation of Stage Door dancers. From recognizing our Assistants of the Month and announcing our 2025–2026 Assistant of the Year, to presenting personalized superlative awards that highlighted the unique strengths each assistant brings to our team, it was such a special evening full of laughter, memories, and well deserved recognition.

A HUGE thank you to Stage Door dance dad Garrett Pristley and his amazing team at Courtyard by Marriott Sarasota at University Town Center for once again going above and beyond with incredible hospitality, delicious food, and the most beautiful dessert spread- this year with a surprise s'mores bar! They truly knock it out of the park every single year.

We are endlessly proud of these dancers and the example they set for our younger students. The future is so bright because of leaders like them ✨

As one of our Client Experience Coordinators, teachers, and Summer Camp directors, she is the steady force behind so much of what we do. From keeping things organized to creating a welcoming experience for every family, she does it all with care and intention. We’re so thankful for her and all she brings to our team. Our Junior Faculty (JFAC) program is made up of more than 40 dancers ages 11 and up who dedicate their time to assisting our children’s dance classes. These dancers are not only helpers in the classroom, they are mentors, leaders, and role models who help shape the culture of our studio each and every week.

Throughout the season, we recognize assistants who go above and beyond through our monthly Assistant of the Month program. From those winners, one dancer is selected to receive our highest honor in JFAC leadership.

We are incredibly proud to announce Sofia King as our 2026 Assistant of the Year 💙💛

Sofia leads with heart, maturity, and an incredible servant mindset. She consistently steps into whatever role is needed, whether assisting in the classroom, supporting our office team, helping teachers, or simply being someone others can count on. She is dependable, compassionate, and deeply invested in the growth of the students around her.

What makes Sofia so special is not just what she does, but the way she makes others feel. She leads by example, encourages those around her, and represents everything our JFAC program stands for. Sofia, thank you for the countless ways you have poured into our studio this season. We are beyond proud of you!

Each month we recognize one assistant who goes above and beyond, and this month we are so proud to celebrate Isabelle Faucher as our Assistant of the Month 💙💛

Isabelle took on additional classes to assist this season and has truly stepped up as a leader within our JFAC program. She has grown so much in confidence and care. Isabelle has made an especially meaningful impact in our BUDS (Bringing Up Down Syndrome) class this year. Her students adore her, and she has such a natural way of connecting with and encouraging every child she works with. Isabelle, thank you for the heart, dedication, and artistry you bring to our studio. We are so proud of you.
