Bizzy Bee VPK has been awarded "Excellent," the highest level of distinction from The Division of Early Learning for the 2024-2025 VPK school year.

We are incredibly honored to be awarded this title as it is a direct reflection of our committed staff, dedicated leadership and support of the Early Learning Coalition Of Sarasota County.

We would like to thank our children and families for their continued support in the Bizzy Bee program throughout the years.

Bizzy Bee has maintained a 5+ star rating for over a decade!!

We are even more excited to let you know that Ms. Lisa’s VPK class earned a ….
PERFECT SCORE with a 7.0/7.0 composite score!

This score is a direct result of the time and dedication to implementing continued education through child-led play in a quality learning environment.

Today Bizzy Bee participated in the

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ is a public education event designed to build awareness about water safety and teach participants basic water safety practices and the swim skills needed to stay safer in, on and around water. The lesson covers water safety basics and fundamental skills for beginning swimmers that can be practiced by a wide variety of students.

The children practiced a wide variety of water safety skills from sunscreen application to blowing bubbles and some holding their breath under water.

Spring is in the air!

The VPK class was out in the garden early Monday morning enjoying the beautiful weather while harvesting some vegetables.
They also collected natural items to get a head start on their Easter-themed STEAM projects.
