How does studying the Bible help us know God's will for our lives?
Rather than searching for mystical, hidden messages, we should focus on what's obvious: God calls lost sinners to repent and become more like him, and through that, we flourish.

We have been so encouraged by this year's Women's Conference! Tara Furman from Knowing God Ministries helped us think through:
1. A woman's identity in Christ: God accomplishes transformation and redemption through a woman willing to stand firm in Christ and persevere in her calling.
2. Hearing the voice of God: Scripture is the living, breathing Word of God. How we engage in Scripture significantly impacts our ability and willingness to listen when God speaks. We want to encounter Jesus, not just read about him.
3. Prayer: Like Scripture, prayer is a lifeline to our Lord. Using scripture in our prayer life is powerfully integral, and yet, not often taught. It transforms our understanding of how to pray, what to pray for, and what God truly desires in our lives and the lives of those for whom we are praying.
We're grateful for all the women who sacrificed their weekend to stir one another to deeper fellowship and growth in our relationships with God.

God's wrath may be a challenging idea for us to grasp, but we should see that the most intense, severe example of God's wrath poured out is on the cross.
