As someone who lost my beloved firefighter husband just a few years ago from esophageal cancer, I know how difficult it can be to make healthy choices after a loss. This year of the JJJ is coming to an end. This week of celebrations was one of the best ever. Full of family, friends, laughs, good food, and gratitude for a year well spent. Memories!

This week we had a blast in Rochester - celebrating brother Mike’s 60th! Saw the whole family, danced the night away. Fun being back in my hometown. 9 weeks left!

Love the “wish” jar! Latest check off is the Algonquin Resort in N.B. Just got back from FL again - we were safe from Milton. Grateful Jeff could help our neighbors out. Only 10 weeks left for the JJJ!

Sooo grateful to have avoided major damage from two florida hurricanes. It was good to see friends in our wonderful community after 5 months away. Flying back down today!
How was your week?
Sooooo - we planned this trip south to our home in Venice for a while, and good thing we did. The first night we got here the air conditioner crapped out, and the second day the new hot water heater’s alarm went off. So we fixed those 2 issues and then Milton decided to pop up and ruin our golf plans. Not whining - just hope we get out Tuesday morning at 6 am to get back to Maine! As Chris Murphy told Jeff today - that’s what you get when you travel during hunting season!
