This week’s fifth grade morning meeting was a bittersweet one as our students led their final elementary all school morning meeting before their big transition to middle school. They did a wonderful job showing the positive tone and sense of community morning meetings bring each day to class. It was so fun seeing their Disney theme as they celebrated the trip they’ve worked so hard for all year long!

From cardboard and clay to recycled lids and glass jars and more, our Middle Grades art students turned everyday materials into incredible miniature sculptures for their end-of-year projects with our K-8 Art teacher, Ms. Minh La. We love seeing their creativity and skills come to life in such unique ways!
As the school year comes to a close, we were so proud to celebrate our graduating 8th Grade Class of 2026 at their special Gala! We are incredibly proud of the hard work, growth, and positive impact these students have made within our school community, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish in high school. A huge thank you to So Staged Event Design + Rentals for the beautiful tropical decorations and set up, Miriam with Taste the Love for the delicious taco bowl station, to SRQ Entertainment Co. for the fun photo op and to our PT4SO, our families, volunteers, and admin team for helping make the night such a success!

Happy National Nurses’ Week to our dedicated and loved school nurse, Mrs. Tina Oaxaca! Whether it’s a bandaid, a temperature check, or a warm smile, she is always there caring for and supporting our students each and every day. We are so grateful for all that you do, Mrs. Oaxaca!

A huge thank you to Ms. Amanda Lopez, our families, volunteers, and students for bringing this special production to life. We are so proud of the hard work, teamwork, and creativity that made the show such a success!
