What if aging could become one of the most meaningful—and even joyful—chapters of life? Join us on May 15 for the online event, Psychedelics and the Reimagining of Aging, with noted journalist and author Abbie Rosner. Abbie will discuss how psychedelics are helping older adults reconnect with purpose, heal old wounds, deepen relationships, and make peace with mortality.

Drawing from research and stories of more than 30 older psychonauts, she reveals how intentional psychedelic experiences can support a renewed sense of aliveness. At a time when aging is often framed as decline, this talk offers a different vision: one where later life becomes a time of insight, connection, and possibility.

In psychedelic work at the end of life, unusual things can happen in the room.

A patient may begin speaking with loved ones who have died.
Ancestral material may surface. Grief can fill the space in ways that feel almost tangible.

Moments like this remind us that guiding these journeys requires more than preparation and dosing knowledge. It also calls for energetic steadiness, clear boundaries, and ways to protect the space for both client and guide.

That’s the focus of Energetic Integrity for Psychedelic Deathworkers, a four-hour online and interactive training with shamanic practitioner Katharine Hargreaves on April 7 & 9.

FREE Online Event March 9: Are Psychedelics Changing our Understanding of Death and Consciousness

What if our fear of death comes not from death itself, but from how we have been taught to see it? And what if psychedelic experience is quietly reshaping that view, revealing death not as an abrupt ending, but as part of a larger continuum of consciousness? Join us for this provocative conversation. Not able to attend live? The session will be recorded.

More individuals facing serious illness are turning to psychedelic care for meaning, connection, and spiritual grounding. I have met hundreds of people whose stories, both those facing death and those that serve them, reinforce just how important this work is, and how quickly it’s growing.

At EOLPC, our sole focus and commitment is to this entire community. Our mission is to advance safe and accessible psychedelic care for people facing serious illness through education, training, scholarships, public events, community-building, and field-wide collaboration.

We are proud that this year more than 2,600 people attended our free events and over 470 practitioners joined our courses. These numbers tell only part of the story. The real impact is in the people:

Jason Eftink, who lives in the “bubble of life and death,” sharing that there is no fear. And Amy Slonaker, whose cancer diagnosis led her to psilocybin and to a renewed sense of life as a gift and later co-founded the Survivorship Collective.

As this field continues to expand, so does the need for accessible, ethical, spiritually grounded training and support. If you believe in this work, I invite you to join us in sustaining it.
