🏈 Congratulations to PRIDE Academy at Prospect Avenue Elementary School on winning the Flag Football Championship! What an incredible and exciting game against Hill Creek Elementary School that kept everyone on the edge of their seats all the way into overtime!

Congrats also to Rio Seco Elementary School for taking 3rd place with a great win over Cajon Park School!

We have teamed up with the City of Santee to host an E-Bike Forum on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30 PM at Santee City Hall – Council Chambers (10601 Magnolia Ave, Santee).

Whether you are a parent, student, rider, or community member, this is a great opportunity to learn more and ask questions.

Representatives from the San Diego Sheriff’s Office will provide a presentation covering:
βœ… E-bike rules and regulations
βœ… Safety tips for riders and families
βœ… Common questions and best practices
βœ… How we can all help keep our community safe

🏈 Here are the final standings for our Flag Football League! What an incredible inaugural season filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

The championship game is set! PRIDE Academy at Prospect Avenue Elementary School and Hill Creek Elementary School will face off on May 28 at 4 p.m. at Santana High School. Meanwhile, Rio Seco Elementary School and Cajon Park School will battle it out for 3rd place.

We are beyond excited to share that Robin Larson, VAPA Teacher at PRIDE Academy at Prospect Avenue Elementary School has been named as one of the five San Diego County Office of Education Teachers of the Year πŸ₯³

Ms. Larson instills in her students the courage to create, the confidence to perform, the thoughtfulness to respond, and the desire to connect. Since 2023, she has taught visual and performing arts at PRIDE Academy at Prospect Avenue, following more than three decades of classroom roles. She built the school’s music and theater program from scratch, using the lessons to expand learning opportunities and encourage self-discovery – from her students and herself.
