A different kind of detection clinic.
Over two days, Cameron Ford and Georgie Jones will explore the thinking behind effective detection training, taking the discussion from theory into practical application.
A limited number of working spots will be taken in advance, with handlers able to share the challenges they’re currently facing with their dog. We’ll then use those real cases throughout the clinic, discussing the problem, looking at the options, explaining our thought process and putting it into practice with the dog.
For everyone attending, this means you’re not just watching exercises being demonstrated. You’ll see how we assess a problem, make training decisions and adapt as the dog gives us information.
Which for the handlers, we will then use to help you get the best from your search, leaving you with a clear plan of action for after the workshop. This will be sent to you following the event so you can continue your development with your dog.
Expect plenty of discussion, practical work and honest problem solving across the two days.
Location is Reading, Berkshire - Close to and the 2 days following SCI SCENT! Priority places will go to SCISCENT ticket holders (there’s still 6 tickets remaining! For the conference!).
