I used to have to fight a voice inside my head that would say, " things are really going well..

How are you about to screw things up? Or things are just great, I wonder when the bad sh is gonna start?

My worst enemy thought was: Me? Why me?

Once I figured out that I am not my thoughts the doors to my own prison flew open.

Now I'm fiercely protecting my thoughts and if it's not rooted in joy, it's not welcome.
