Looking back on a winter quarter full of field trips, sunny days, and sea turtles! 🌊🐢

It’s always a highlight to have Professor Bianchi’s oceanography students on board and watch them put their knowledge into practice through experiments and observations in Santa Monica Bay.

We are almost 70% of the way to our goal!!! With 7 days left in our fundraising campaign we are so excited to have reached this benchmark. However, we still need your help! Over the next week, please continue to spread the word of our fundraising efforts. With each donation, we are that much closer to continuing to provide educational field trips to students but we can’t do it without help!

Meet the team! Our undergraduate interns keep this program afloat (😉) and we’re so proud of the work they do. Donating to our crowdfunding campaign (link in bio) ensures that undergrads continue to have opportunities to gain crucial experience in oceanography!

The UCLA Marine Operations Program provides hands-on learning experiences in marine science for students. We take 200-300 budding scientists out on the water annually, and we need your help to keep providing students with this opportunity free of charge! Click the link in our bio to visit our crowdfunding page and contribute a gift to fund outreach efforts and experiential learning experiences 🌊🧪
