The Los Angeles County Police Canine Association is proud to present our 25th Annual Police K9 Demonstration on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at West Torrance High School.
Come experience an unforgettable day featuring police K9 teams from agencies across Southern California as they showcase the incredible training, obedience, detection work, suspect apprehension, tactical deployments, and real-world skills that make these dogs such an essential part of law enforcement.
This year’s event also includes a Vendor Fair beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by the main K9 Demonstration at 3:00 PM.
This family-friendly tradition helps support the mission of LACPCA — providing grants, equipment assistance, training opportunities, and medical support for active and retired police canines and their handlers throughout Los Angeles County.
Tickets, sponsorship opportunities, advertising, and vendor information are available now.
Want to support police K9s even if you can’t attend? Donations can be made anytime using the link in our bio.
We hope to see you there for one of Southern California’s premier law enforcement canine events.

K9 Amir, a proud retired K-9 from Gardena PD, gave five years of dedicated service protecting his community alongside his handler. Like so many working dogs, his commitment didn’t end when the badge came off—ongoing medical care is part of the sacrifice these teams make long after their service.
Through the support of generous donations the Los Angeles County Police Canine Association is honored to provide a grant to help cover K9 Amir’s medical expenses, ensuring he receives the care he deserves in retirement.
These grants make a real difference for our K-9 teams and their families. If you’d like to support and help us continue providing for dogs like Amir, please consider donating at www.PayPal.Me/LACPCA
Honoring their service doesn’t stop at retirement—it’s a lifelong commitment.
