I like playing with hoopers. Lead him a bit much on first pass, but he right back where I needed him in 2 seconds so he could get us a bucket. Basketball in Venice is always fun for the old man if I have cutters out there to pass the rock to.

Retired Nike Streetball pro playing in Venice at 48 and throwing some dimes. I am not chasing pro basketball runs anymore, but at my age I like to be able to chase my kid.

Retired Nike Streetball OG in Venice. In basketball we want to get into that paint to cause chaos amongst the defense whether we get in there through drive or pass, that is where you break defenses down and create opportunities. I see so many kids that will just shoot threes all day and not even move inside the arc, but they are not attacking as well. Get to the lane and good things will happen.

Playing with a pass first point guard. I like to find people that cut and give them the opportunities from their off ball movement. I feel like the pickup in today’s age has less movement than the old days. That ring true to anyone else?

I’m 48 and still moving. Ya know I can’t let the munchkins feel too confident after their playful banter.

Constant movement = energy, longevity, being able to show up as a dad and teach these youngins who they’re talking to. 😂
