At TMP, your voice is part of the curriculum. 🎙️✨

Beyond the rigorous Dual Credit courses and the college-prep hustle, there is a space where our students lead the conversation.

KTMP is more than just a podcast; it’s a platform. It’s where our students practice the art of storytelling, critical thinking, and technical production. From exploring deep-space exploration to debating pop culture and local history, our students prove that when you give a young person a microphone, they have something incredible to say.

This is what "Democracy in Action" and "Independent Learning" look like in 2026.

The future of New Mexico is in good hands! ⚖️🏛️

Our students are currently in the thick of NM YAG (Youth and Government), a statewide immersive experience where democracy isn't just a concept, it’s a practice. From serving as Legislators drafting bills to Attorneys arguing constitutional law, our Trailblazers are tackling every dimension of 21st-century state government.

The coolest part? While the YMCA and advisors coordinate the logistics, every function of government is run by the students, for the students. It is 100% democracy in action!
📅 The conference runs today, Tuesday, 4/14. We are so proud of our student lobbyists, media teams, and executive leaders as they navigate the complexities of leadership.

Go get ‘em, trailblazing Timberwolves! 🐺✨

We’ve been hearing your voices, TMP.
We know there have been questions about how posts are created and who gets to contribute. That feedback matters to us.
💡 Going forward, we’re exploring more ways for students to contribute art, photos, and ideas to TMP’s social platforms.
If you’d like to be part of shaping TMP’s digital voice, we’d love to hear from you.
TMP is strongest when students help shape it.
More soon. 🐺

Huge shoutout to our TMP STEM Team!

🧪💻 This weekend, they are heading out to represent the Timberwolves Pack at the NM Governor’s STEM Challenge. (Feb 6-7, 2026)

This year, the stakes are real. They’ve been tackling a massive question: How can STEM help New Mexico survive and recover from natural disasters like wildfires, droughts, and floods? 🌪️🔥
From predictive tech to finding ways to mitigate harm and help our communities recover long-term, our team has been working hard on exploring innovations that actually matter for our state.

🌲✨ We couldn’t be prouder to have them repping TMP at this level!
