Air Quality Update: Though smoke conditions have begun to improve on the west side of Santa Fe, air quality in most areas of the city remains in the orange, red, or purple range.
All students will remain indoors for afternoon recess today. In addition, outdoor athletic practices will not be permitted. SFPS will continue to monitor air quality conditions and make adjustments as needed. Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff.

This summer, our first cohort of 14 high school juniors and seniors from across New Mexico led 20 community clean-up events, engaged more than 300 volunteers, and collected 7.62 tons of litter. They also participated in projects promoting environmental leadership and community engagement.
The application deadline is August 21.

I've attached a flyer for your reference. You can also help spread the word by sharing posts from the KeepLitterOutNM Facebook and Instagram pages.
