This track-switch junction at the Santa Fe NM Railyard served as a reminder that we are often faced with the desire and/or opportunity to alter our lifecourse. ▫️You’ll sense when it’s time to switch tracks as you feel yourself falling out of passion for your current direction, or experience a pervasive ongoing lack of fulfillment with what you have chosen. Or the Universe may send you increasingly bold signs to get your attention, indicating it’s time to make a change.▫️Change, when you abandon the security of status-quo, might feel uncomfortable, or even threatening. It might take you out of your comfort zone. You may be tempted to resist change, when change is exactly what is needed. Change is part of our inherent nature as human beings, and everything around us is in a constant state of change. Resistance is energetically taxing, and ultimately futile.▫️Your new lifetrack will likely require new ways of perceiving yourself and the world. If you want to change your lifetrack, you can’t bring all aspects of your old reality with you. New track = new journey = new perspectives = new results.

Michael was recently gifted this stunning smoky quartz tower by a friend who visited its origin of Brazil. ▫️When introducing a new crystal to your wheelhouse, you can add to its general efficacy by ‘programming’ it to direct its energies on a specific goal, intention, or desire-best when aligned with its known energetic properties.▫️To program the crystal, with a clear and relaxed state of mind, hold the specimen in the palm of one or both hands, close your eyes and take several long, deep, meditative breaths. Then aloud or silently, ask that the crystal connect with your highest self. ▫️State your goal, desire, and/or intention clearly and specifically. Take a moment to envision yourself living that intention, goal, or desire. Think of this as stepping into a picture on your vision board and becoming part of it.▫️End by expressing your gratitude to the crystal and acknowledge that what you’re asking for already exists in the universe. Write your intention down on a piece of paper so that you can refer to it anytime. Simply observing the crystal will also serve as a daily reminder of that intention.

According to Buddhist principles, the often constant internal noise we may experience is referred to as as “monkey mind”. A monkey mind becomes easily distracted feeding on stimuli, of which there is no shortage in our hyper-stimulated lives.▫️ When the mind is constantly assaulted by tangential fragmented thoughts with no quiet relief, it may result in mental fatigue and exhaustion.▫️Passing thoughts are normal and can't simply be snuffed out by willpower. Acknowledge each distracting thought and tell yourself that you will recall and address each at a later time. This technique is one of the many pathways to mindfulness.

came across this eye-catching crystal grid while visiting in Albuquerque, NM. ▫️Grid designs may be freestyle or structured, simple or sacred. There are no hard rules for layouts. The one pictured, for example, may appear freeform at first glance, but further scrutiny reveals its patterns and symmetry. ▫️A grid is a design of components that may include crystals, stones, and other natural elements arranged in a sacred geometric (e.g. circle, triangle, spiral) or freeform shape. The properties of the elements chosen, combined with their configuration, create unique energy combinations. When crystals are part of a grid, their effects are synergistically more powerful.
