This car was painted and pinstriped in the late 1970s by someone in Northern New Mexico. Its really special to me to have it back home in New Mexico and that I get to use it to meet new people and even show houses in it!

Its amazing what happens when you clear out 40 years of barn crud from an engine. I'm struggling to find the human analogy here but its like getting a new heart and unblocked arteries I guess.

Either way the engine is running stronger than ever and I think we gained a quart of oil capacity in the process!

Sometimes you expect something to be an easy fix but it throws you a curve ball. I got so sucked into the hard way to fix this I missed the solution that was literally right in front of me!

I'm lucky enough to have grown up in the transition times between modern tech and "old school". In the late 1900's you got to experience things you don't see everyday. This car is packed full of things from a different era, like drum brakes.

If you've never driven a car without Anti Lock Brakes (ABS) bringing a car to a (safe) stop is a totally different experience.
