Early look at the neck that will go on the Goldtop prototype. Its a 5 piece laminate made of Spanish Cedar and Limba. Each piece is tapered at about 1° to match the taper of the fretboard. Next step is to joint and glue them together.

I decided to be more proactive in my posts. Here's a prototype from what back when that I'm flat sanding before it is joined with a maple top. More to come.

Since NYC is quarantined and my shop decided to close up as well I've been left with nothing to do except come up with new designs. Right now I'm dialing in a bridge concept for an acoustic flat top I'm working on. I like to work messy and erase portions of a drawing until I'm satisfied with the final product. All of my drawings are filthy like this 😂
Luckily USPS hasn't been stopped by the pandemic. A new tool from arrived today, the multi radius fret caul! Once the shop opens up we'll take it for a spin

This Gibson '63 ES-335 VOS needed a set up and a re-ramp in the upper register. To do the re-ramp we use a tool we affectionately call the "it".

This 2007 Gibson ES-175 got some D'Addario and Co. flat wounds and a bridge angle adjustment using the archtop bridge fitting jig.

Electric guitar is complete. This guitar, the A-Caster is inspired by the love of my life . It is a Californian, bolt-on-neck style guitar with an aquaburst reminiscent of the Pacific ocean. is a Californian and I wanted to capture that in the instrument. Thank you .lee.guitars
