The moment when a new skill “clicks” for a child, like when they first learn how to draw a star, is almost magical! It’s too long ago for most of us to remember the feeling, but if you’re lucky enough to get to teach them how, you can witness it and that’s even better!✨Once they get the hang of drawing stars, they don’t want to stop!💫
It’s fun to let them fill a paper with stars, then choose their favorites to color and cut out. Laminate if you can so they last forever... they make great ornaments!⭐️
Details in my pdf resource: How to Draw a Star for Pre-K, K & 1st grade. Link in bio for my TpT store!🌟

Origami cranes can be so addicting to make and they make great ornaments, too. Tip: It’s easiest if you use real origami paper because it’s thin and easy to fold and also (most importantly!) it comes pre-cut in perfect squares. 🟩 Details and links to helpful videos with printable pdf instructions on my blog at TeachKidsArt.net (search: origami crane)✨

Left these little treasures on our walk today for random neighbors to find. It’s fun - like hiding Easter eggs, and hopefully brightens someone’s day! 😊
I used black & silver Sharpies and a white paint marker on these.🍁
