REALITY:
Players calling out strategies, encouraging teammates, listening to one another, and solving problems together—all while having fun.
Sometimes the strongest learning moments do not look like a traditional lesson.
They look like young people moving, laughing, sharing ideas, encouraging one another, and working through challenges together.
Through active play, communication becomes something players practice in real time—not just something they talk about. That is play with purpose. 💬🙌

They were told it was professional development… nobody warned them it would be this much fun. 😂

High schoolers... playing tag? Best day ever!
Think Together Playday at PUC Triumph Charter High School in Sylmar brought students together for movement, teamwork, and active learning that didn't feel like "school" at all!
Through PlayZTAG, students built connection, practiced collaboration, and discovered how play can power STEM learning, SEL, and expanded learning programs. Turns out the best lessons don't always come from a textbook. 💙⚡
Who says learning can't feel like recess? At Playday 2026, Hanshaw Middle School students found out it can!
Movement, teamwork, and joyful learning took center stage as students stayed active, connected, and discovered how play builds collaboration, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills. Because sometimes the best lessons happen when you're having the most fun. 💙
What happens when a room full of Parks & Rec staff gets their hands on ZTAG for the first time? A lot of laughing, for one!
The Lancaster Parks & Rec team and their Playmakers spent today learning ZTAG, and the excitement for what's ahead was hard to miss. By the end, everyone was running games, laughing, and already imagining the kids who'll be out on the field soon.
