Today marked our 5th annual Summer Meal Concert Series event with our third free music event for this season, sponsored by No Kid Hungry and held at Westside Boys and Girls Club at Bohnett Park. The Same Difference played a collection of folksy rock tunes while a group of about 60 kids listened, played with hula hoops and danced to the music. As well, delicious and healthy meals were prepared by Santa Barbara Unified Food Services. Many thanks to Laura Capps for School Board and SBU Food Services Director Nancy Weiss and staff for their unwavering support of community and youth.

To make it easier to find out where summer meals are served, families throughout the county can text SUMMERFOOD to 877-877 to find a summer meals site in their neighborhood.
