Kıvılcım Ezgi Doğanyiğit spoke before the SBCC Board of Trustees in regards to the undemocratically passed international & out-of-state tuition increase of over 10%. If this behavior continues, there will be no international students left.

The recent tuition increase seems to be showing a trend at SBCC. In just under 3 years, SBCC tuition for international and out of state students has risen by over 35%.
Stellan Lange spoke in regards to the issue of the international and out-of-state tuition increase and the manner in which it has been communicated. It's because of students like Stellan and others that the students even know about the increase in the first place.
Last week during the SBCC Board of Trustees meeting, Sebastian Rothstein spoke regarding the tuition increase on out-of-state and international students. The students should have a say in matters which could make or break their future.

Oppose the out-of-state and international tuition increase until we can have a proper debate. In a democracy, the ones affected should not be excluded from the conversation.

SBCC Board of Trustees just voted to increase your tuition by a tremendous amount, but the students had no say in the matter. That's not democracy.
