Next up: The TRIAD Symposium!

TRIAD is our two-week intensive term where students step outside the traditional classroom to travel, research, investigate, apprentice, and discover - diving deep into a topic of their choosing alongside a faculty mentor. This year's courses ranged from Shark Tank and Build Your Ride to What's Cookin', Gone Fishing, Ceramics, He(art) of Worship, and a 10-day Aloha History Tour to Kauai. At the end of the program, students present on their courses to share what they learned, made, and discovered along the way.

Remember, next year TRIAD launches in JANUARY for a fresh, energizing start to the new semester! Make sure you save the date for the Symposium - Friday, January 22, 2027.

Today we're celebrating the 8th Grade Science Expo and the TRIAD Symposium - two annual traditions that showcase the studies and interests of our students.

First: The 8th Grade Science and Engineering Expo, overseen by Miss Spradley and Mr. Meadth.

The Expo presents students with a theme (this year, it was CREATURE SUPERPOWERS!). Students picked topics that interested them and brought some crazy creatures to life for our Preschool and Lower School students. The 8th grade students are responsible for their research and presentations - and they all make their exhibits so much fun!

Upper School capped off this past school year with adventure through TRIAD! Students hiked the Hawaiian rainforest, served nonprofits in Santa Barbara, shaped pots and bowls in ceramics, walked Steinbeck's Cannery Row, and more. Every year, TRIAD stretches students to grow as they apply knowledge in real-world settings.

A little throwback Tuesday today! Swipe through to catch a glimpse of some end-of-the-year highlights in some of our lower elementary grades.

A bear-y big mystery! FIRST GRADE's beloved bears went missing and they spent the day on the case–making "missing" posters, enjoying bear-themed activities, and finally heading out on a bear hunt to track down their beloved bears. Thank you, Mrs. Hawkins, for helping the class check the security cameras to see if the bears could be spotted!

SECOND GRADE dressed up as children from 100 years ago and spent the day living like it: scrubbing clothes on a washboard, playing games from the 1920s, and creating era-inspired crafts.

Summer fun reminders for all divisions! Preschool and Lower School Beach Day is coming up, and Middle & Upper School families please RSVP for the Beach BBQ!

8th Grade Recognition Night celebrates our students as they close the chapter on Middle School and step into the adventure of high school. This year, each student grew in their faith, were challenged and encouraged academically, and dug a little deeper into the gifts God has given them. We are especially grateful to Ms. Svoboda for the design and coordination of this event every year; this meaningful tradition is a capstone experience for our students.
