🎯Day 2 wrapped for the State Trad 2025 🎯

It was a blast to compete with some of the best Barebow shooters in the state and support the new division at this event. Thank you to 🦅 for getting it added to the roster. 🙇🏻‍♂️

🏹 I’m 8 months into this Barebow experiment and I can feel it starting to click, but I’m still not firing on all cylinders. There is room for growth and I’m excited to see what lies ahead on this road of discovery.

Congratulations to .be for taking the belt and setting yet to another CA record. The title is well deserved and I humbly accept the A$$ Whoop’n and my silver medal 🥈. Just 3 years into his archery journey and he has already established himself as one of the best in the state, I look forward to seeing what he can achieve in the coming season and years. Last year my father Tim and I had the honor to co-receive life time achievement award, in memory of Big John Wade. This accolade surpasses and tournament or championship victory I have had by far.

It was truly an honor to receive this and even more profound to be along side my father. The names on this list are true legends of California’s traditional community, and it blows my mind to have been chosen to represent them moving forward.

Thank you to Fresno Field Archers for all the amazing events you host and all your passion and energy that you put into each of them. I truly feel that this is a home away from home for us. 🙇🏻‍♂️

Copilot on my way to the CBH 450 this weekend. This will be my first competitive indoor experience, I’m looking forward to something new yet so familiar. Got lucky and will be able to shoot on the same line as one of the best in the state and good friend .be

The Barebow experiment continues. Shot a new PR today and broke the 270 barrier. Keep pushing, next stop 280 🚂🚃🚃🚃

Still buzzing from today’s archery tournament ! 🎯 Shot the high score out of about 100 shooters 🏆 It was an incredible day spent with amazing friends—both new and old. Congrats to the homies on a well shot day! Lots of laughs out there. Can’t wait for the next one!

🎯 After a few months of quiet preparation, the time has come. Since April, I’ve been immersed in gearing and training for the 2024 US Team Trials and the path towards the 3D World Championship in September, which takes place every 2 years. This journey has been about quieting the mind and strengthening the body. Tuned a new set of arrows, which I’m pretty happy with. 🏹💪

I’ve dedicated myself to practice and preparation, feeling both ready and capable of the greatest challenge in my archery journey. Regardless of the result, the opportunity fills me with gratitude. 🙇🏻‍♂️

I owe a huge thank you to my wife , my family, and my friends for their unwavering support and encouragement. Your belief in me warms my heart and fuels my determination. ❤️

I may have got knocked off the top step in individual championship by just 1 point, but averaging 9.45 points per arrow and not dropping a single shot is a personal victory I’ll cherish! 🏹💫

🏹 2024 tournament seasons is underway 🏹

Broke the ice last weekend at the CBH Traditional State Championship. What a beautiful weekend, dispite the forecast, the weather was absolutely phenomenal for shooting.🌧️ I feel bad for all those who didn’t make it this year due to the threat of rain. 🌧️ You missed out!

I had the opportunity to shoot with some old friends from on day 1 and was able to make the championship flight for day 2. Im really excited to see some fresh blood in the longbow division, and even more excited to have them defeat me! has been working his butt off and is more then deserving of the W and the title. Josh Flint (no tag) has accelerated his way to the top of the class within 18months of starting his archery career, absolutely incredible. It makes me so happy to to see growth in the longbow division.

As for me, I shot slightly below my statistical average, netting 895 points and a 3rd place 🥉 , falling short of both my personal bar 900 and my goal of 960. I’m not sure what it is about this tournament, but it’s been a great motivator for me the last few year. Maybe it’s the silver/bronze 4 years in a row, hahaha.

Guess it’s time to sharpen my fangs 🧛🏽
