What a touching and funny story Paul Reubens tells about having a tea party with his father. The comments are great as well.

Don’t forget to celebrate your successes no matter how small you might think they are. They add up!! Keep moving forward. Obviously I’m goofing around here in the dressing trailer, but I am also making myself laugh, which is my way of charging my “batteries” AND it gets me in the zone of where I want to be: energetic, positive and fun to work with . . . I hope.

Poverty isn't a lack of character; it's a lack of cash 02/26/2021

This is a great (and short) positive post about how we can help eradicate poverty, and make a difference. Love these ideas!

Whenever we were “underperforming”, my High School music teacher, Dr. Weigle, would stop us, scan the room with a look on his face like he just tasted something really bitter, and say, “you know, it’s so easy to be mediocre”. This was his way of telling us that we were not singing well . . . at all. I still remember these moments because as a group, we heard it many times during rehearsals all the way up to the big performance. It was his way of getting the best out of us . . . and it worked!! I always think of this and how Dr. Weigle would say it whenever I feel like I’m not giving whatever it is I am doing my absolute best. Great motivating advice especially if a teenager (me) remembers it so many years later.

L-I-V-E. LIVE! One of my favorite movie quotes.

"A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they are not dead, really. They're just backing away from life. Reach out. Take a chance. Get hurt even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! Give me an L. Give me an I. Give me a V. Give me an E. L-I-V-E. LIVE! Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room." – Maude
