🎉WELCOME BACK, STUDENTS! 🎉

Today marks the beginning of a brand-new school year filled with learning, friendship, discovery, and countless opportunities to shine. We’re so excited to see our students back where they belong and can’t wait to make this year one to remember.

First day means fresh starts, and sometimes for teachers, it means new positions!

Tomorrow morning will start Ashley Inman's time as a fitness and PE teacher at SanLee Middle, and just like many students, she'll be experiencing new things and a new role this year at SanLee. Hear from her about what makes her excited to be at SanLee and taking on a different role this year.

Make sure you get a good night's sleep and we will see you all in the morning, students!

Our Convocation is always a great time to celebrate the upcoming school year and provides a great peek into the anticipation that our teachers have for the new year. We caught up with Ronisa Andries, one of the most positive, bubbly, and energetic teachers at East Lee Middle School and she couldn't hide her excitement to meet her new sixth graders who she will challenge to start the year off with a great smile!

Convocation was such a great time with our entire district staff! You could feel the energy and excitement for a new school year as we gathered to set our focus on the 2026-2027 School Year.

Take a minute to hear from LCHS teacher and Volleyball Coach, Cindy Kelly, on what she looks most forward to each year and how a teacher/coach impacted her career path! Don't forget you have a chance to see the Jackets and Cavalier volleyball teams in action for their first scrimmages tomorrow at Lee County High from 9-1!

Come see us Sunday, August 9th at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center for the annual Back To School Cuts event. Haircuts, school supplies, and lunch will be provided. 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
