Lee Christian School is excited to welcome Laci McNeill as our new Varsity Cheer Coach!

Coach McNeill brings years of cheerleading experience, beginning in competitive cheer and continuing through high school and Cape Fear Community College. She was also a member of a 2019 State Championship cheerleading team and later earned her degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her background in both athletics and education prepares her to mentor and inspire student-athletes both on and off the sidelines.

💬 “I am super excited to be a part of the Lee Christian family,” said Coach McNeill. “I have big dreams for this cheer team, and I can’t wait to start this journey. I’m looking forward to building a program that promotes school spirit, teamwork, leadership, and success.”

Lee Christian School is excited to announce Chris Sheldon as our new Varsity Baseball Head Coach!

Coach Sheldon joins the Falcons after four successful seasons at Thales Academy Apex, where he led his team to a Conference Championship and earned the 2025 Raleigh Area Athletic Conference (RAAC) Coach of the Year Award. Known for his leadership, passion for the game, and commitment to developing student-athletes, Coach Sheldon brings a proven track record of success both on and off the field.

💬 “We are excited to welcome Coach Chris Sheldon to the Lee Christian family,” Athletic Director Jesse Wilson said. “His experience, character, and passion for developing young athletes make him an outstanding fit for our baseball program. We are proud to celebrate Coach Giltzow for being recognized for her work growing the game of rugby in our community!

Through her partnership with Try Rugby, she successfully introduced flag rugby into the PE program at Lee Christian School, helping students learn new skills and experience an exciting sport. As one of only five educators recognized for expanding rugby opportunities in their communities, she was honored during halftime of the Anthem Rugby final home game.

🏀 Welcome Coach Clark Patterson: New Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach 🏀

We are excited to announce the hiring of Clark Patterson as the new Head Coach of our Varsity Girls Basketball program.

Coach Patterson brings a passion for the game, a commitment to student-athlete development, and a vision for building a competitive and positive basketball culture. His dedication to teaching fundamentals, fostering teamwork, and developing leadership both on and off the court makes him an outstanding addition to Lee Christian’s School athletic program.

Throughout his 10 years of coaching, Coach Patterson has emphasized hard work, discipline, and accountability while helping athletes reach their full potential. He believes success is measured not only by wins and losses but also by the character, confidence, and life skills players develop through their experiences in athletics.

As he takes the reins of the Varsity Girls Basketball program, Coach Patterson is eager to build strong relationships with players, families, and the Lee Christian community. His goal is to create an environment where student-athletes can grow as competitors and leaders while representing Lee Christian with pride.
