We are thrilled to announce the new Head Coach of the Alta High Dance Company, Megan Phillips!

Megan Phillips is an Alta High School, Class of 2009 alumna and longtime member of the Alta community. She lives in Sandy with her husband, Andy, and their four children. Megan’s background in dance includes performing at Brigham Young University as a member and later the President of the nationally recognized Cougarettes, where she helped lead the team during multiple national championship seasons and represented the program in high-profile performances across the world.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Megan has worked extensively as a dance instructor and company director, teaching jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and technique while mentoring dancers during critical developmental years. She is passionate about building a strong team culture and helping young dancers develop confidence, discipline, and technical excellence.

As a former member and president of the Alta Dance Company, Megan is especially excited to return to the program and invest in the next generation of Alta dancers.

Megan will be formally introduced to the Alta community at the Senior Night Concert on Saturday, March 14.
