Mount Jordan Middle School Giving For Good We are an AVID school and part of that is completing a service project. We as teachers help our students learn the importance working together to help those in need. We strive to teach kindness and the value of service both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Giving for Good! We are just over one third of our way to our goal! We are excited for the opportunity to spread holiday cheer to members of our community.

As an AVID school it is our tradition to participate in a giving for good food drive and fundraiser. We began this food drive and fundraiser this week as a competition between houses and electives. Students can bring food to the bins in their grade level houses. The food will be donated to the local food bank and any monetary donations will be used to provide a “Sub for Santa” for families in need within our community. Our goal is to raise $3000 to help families in need. Monetary donations can be made through a shareable SuccessFund link at

The new start date for school will be August 24. We will be sending information out shortly about Chromebook pick up for those who have chosen online and parent guided instruction. Online registration starts tomorrow, July 27. If you need help with registration we will be hosting walk in registration at Jordan High School on Wednesday, July 29 from 7:00 - 12:00 and Thursday, July 30 from 2:00 - 6:00. We are hoping to make it easier for families with kids at multiple schools to be able to register in one place. We will have administrators from each school as well as translators to assist with the registration and fee waiver process as well as answer any questions needed. If you have elementary school children we will be able to assist you with their registration as well. See the flyer for details and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
