This Wednesday, Jan. 23 is Sunrise Spirit NIght at Chili's in Sandy from 4 to 11 pm. You MUST print out and take the flyer with you. Chile's will donate 15% of sales generate to the Sunrise PTA. No cooking, yummy food, a night out with family or friends, and a great cause!

We had a great Back to School Night tonight. Thanks to all of the parents that came to support their children and our school.

We started mealworms today! Each student got his/her own habitat with 5 small and 2 large mealworms. Over the next few weeks we'll conduct experiments with them and then watch them undergo metamorphosis to turn into a darkling beetle.
School starts tomorrow morning at 8:15. I hope all my kiddies are in bed and fast asleep. I'm on my way!

Tomorrow for Red Ribbon Week, we are wearing as much red as we can to raise awareness. I'm sure our class is going to have the most red on!
It's Red Ribbon Week! Tomorrow we are going to 'Sock it to Drugs' by wearing crazy/mismatched socks. We're also planting tulip bulbs to 'Plant the seed to be drug free'. We'll watch them grow in the spring.
