One of the phase 9 designs focuses on Konbuin no fukusa, which refers to a celebrated collection of thirty-one ornate, Edo-period silk wrapping cloths (kake-fukusa) preserved at the Konbuin Temple in Nara, Japan. They are historically significant as the surviving examples of traditional Japanese fukusa gift-coverings
