The Renegade Regiment went up against some really tough bands on Saturday at Metamora. The Regiment put up a good fight in class 4A against much bigger schools, only missing 1st place by 4 points, the band ended up taking home 2nd place!

After almost a week of indoor rehearsals and cancelled rehearsals due to the rain, the Renegade Regiment took the field at Illinois Valley Central High School for the Grey Ghost Classic.

These kids proved their determination and dedication to this program by bringing home some more hardware.

From the dress-up days and activities to the parade, assembly, football game, and dance, it was great to see our students and community come together and show their SHS pride.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, Angie's Bakery, and community members who helped make Homecoming 2026 such a memorable week!

Grateful for our staff who have dedicated so much of their lives to education. It was an honor to celebrate them at the Sandwich School District staff recognition and retirement dinner.
