Good day folks! If you attended the MSC-8 Wild Wild West fundraising event on Tuesday, you should remember the moment when I gave a shout out to all the Rustic Wood Table Sponsors. Along with mentioning each sponsor, I asked for loud and proud “Yee Haw” which all participants obliged! (Some Yee Hawed louder than others) LOL! What you guy didn’t know was that was actually a contest to see who had the loudest proudest YEEEE HAWWW, and the winner is….(drum roll)……Table “Giddy Up” OHtaco! You guys brought it and are the winners of Midtown Supper Club Season 9 (Table of 8 ) next year!! We will chat on details as far as theme, once the universe lets me know what it is!! Ha! Congrats guys and thank you again to all the sponsors for the support!

Welp folks, in just a few hours Sandusky Rec @ Mills will be presenting Midtown Supper Club Season 8 Wild Wild West fundraising event! These young chefs in training have been under the direction of Chef Byron and Chef Bruce for the last 6 weeks and they are ready to show the community what they’ve created!! We also have our Outta School @ Mills youth teamin up with Seeving Our Seniors under the name Rodeo Renegades to show off their shindig boot stompin skills! Oh and did I mention the Family Feud-ish game show with the Hatfields vs the McCoys with our very own host Wild Bill Westernhold! We are in for a treat folks! This is a perfect day to put the
Boots on da ground!! Ha!

Good day folks!! Welp as always, the community has done it big supporting the Midtown Supper Club Season 8!! We are officially SOLD OUT! Thank you for all the folks that purchased tables, tickets, and their services to make this another history making event!! Get ready for Tuesday cause it’s gonna be a rootin tootin, knee slappin time!! See ya Tuesday!!

Good day, the Outta School @ Mills program will be CLOSED on Monday March 9th and Tuesday March 10th due to a fundraising event. The Midtown Supper Club WILL BE OPEN for prep on Monday March 9th, and for the finale event on Tuesday March 10th! If you child(ren) are performing in Midtown Supper Club on Monday March 9th and Tuesday March 10th, please have them there at the earliest 3:30 pm no later than 4:30 pm as we have a lot to do before showtime! Pick up will be 6:30- 7pm on Monday. Thank you for your understanding and support!! If you have purchased a ticket(s) and are just attending the event, please know the doors WILL NOT OPEN until 5:30 sharp. The Outta School @ Mills will be open the following day, Wednesday March 11th at 3:30.

Sandusky Recreation Department Presents Midtown Supper Club MSC-VIII – Wild Wild West
This TWO-TIME award-winning program is back for Season EIGHT. The Chefs-in -Training have been hard at work to develop their culinary skills with Chef Byron McMorris, Executive Chef at Ciao Bella Restaurant , and Chef Bruce Thompson, Executive Chef at The Commons of Providence. This Season, the theme will be Wild Wild West, so dust off your boots and grab your hat — we’re throwin’ a rodeo-style shindig you won’t wanna miss! We’ll have hearty grub, toe-tappin’ tunes, and plenty of Wild West fun. Whether you’re a seasoned cowpoke or just in it for the Frontier Fixins, your presence will make the night even more legendary. You will be going on a journey out West cause “There’s Gold in them there Hills!!!”
If you choose to, you can dress in your best western wear — think boots, denim, fringe, and a little bit of swagger. Bonus points for a big ol’ belt buckle!

Good day parents of MSC-8! There is no school on Monday (February 23rd) however we will be live and in living color for MSC class only. So to be clear, The Outta school program will be closed TODAY and the Midtown Supper Club will be open from 4-6pm as usual. And guess what? March 5th-15th is Restaurant week so why not support our youth by getting a wonderful meal and experience intergenerational entertainment on March 10th!? Get your tickets/tables TODAY folks! Seats are filling up fast!!

Good day folks!! **Long post alert!!** Oh nothin, just the MSC-8 chefs in training on a field trip for 1st time in program history. Thank you to Chef Bruce for providing safe TCOP transportation and shout out to Chef Byron for providing an awesome experience for these kiddos! We were greated at the door, then escorted to our seats. We met the staff and toured the back of the house then back to our seats and waited for what our noses were smelling and tummies were craving… FOOD! And boy oh boy!! We received stellar service and were served 4 courses family style! Salads were served first…..yumz, next, outstanding Italian wedding soup, another yumz!! Sorry no pics of the entrees, we dived right in and forgot to take pics of the choices of Handmade fresh Pizza -cheese, pepperoni, sausage, then out came delicious spaghetti and meatballs, then out came chicken Alfredo pasta, and then finally the ooh la la desserts- Tiramisu, cannolis and lava cake! Whew! Oh and to further enhance the experience, Chef Byron gave them a chance to be “hands on” briefly in the kitchen! What a joy watching those chefs in trainings faces light up! Can we say IMPACT?? This is good stuff here folks!! Ciao Bella did not disappoint. Wonderful staff and delicious food!! Don’t forget to grab your tickets today for the Midtown Supper Club Season 8-Wild Wild West! This TWO TIME State of Ohio, award-winning program is being brought back for season EIGHT. Lock in your spot for Monday, January 26, 2026, for your child(ren) to have an in-person interview with Chef Byron McMorris from Ciao Bella Restaurant and Chef Bruce Thompson from The Commons of Providence. Chefs in Training will interview to be accepted into a six-week,12 session program which will meet Monday and Tuesdays starting January 27, 2026, from
4-6:00 pm. These sessions will culminate into a fundraising Midtown Supper Club VIII-Wild Wild West @ Mills event on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at the Sandusky Rec @ Mills from 5:30-7:30pm. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Sandusky Recreation youth scholarship program.
Your child(ren) must be able to do an interview (Monday January 26, 2025, 4-6:00pm with the Chefs AND commit to attend classes Mondays and Tuesdays (BOTH days from 4-6:00pm) for 6 weeks, (12 classes) in order to be accepted into the culinary portion of this interest-based program. Once the interview has been completed, an email will be sent to the
parents/guardian with further instructions on how to register and pay online. This year in order to leave a greater impact on the chefs in training and to offer more enhanced, detailed instruction, this year spots will be limited to12 chefs in training total.
