Recently, I and a couple of dear friends had the opportunity to take a class put on by the O.S.B.I. It was a six-week course that allowed the citizens have a closer understanding of what the O.S.B.I. actually does in their investigation work. Even though it didn't offer CLEET hours, I felt that it was important for me to take it for the knowledge alone. There were about 30 of us in the course and you could tell that we all had a good time. We got to go through the shooting simulator, literally wore beer goggles, learned intricacies of forensics in investigations and even had a true crime story that involved the death of a lawman's daughter. If this class is ever offered again, I stress that you, a friend or a family member take it. It's well worth the time. I personally want to thank Jennifer Konsire Bolt and Shannon Dawn Redway, two dear friends who made this adventure even better. Jennifer for finding the course and Shannon for the excitement that I saw in her eyes as she took in the information from the classes. What I've learned and relearning in this class will be used to make Triple J Investigations & Security better as the days, months and years progress.
