Cub Scouts Pack 995

Pack 995 is adapting and Adjusting to new normal for upcoming school year.
Open house moved to 08/06 07:00 PM to avoid scheduling conflicts with Hidden Hills Elementary Information night.

Scouting during COVID situation and coming up with alternate scouting strategies and provide similar experience to the scouts

- Leverage BSA information
- Hiking in small groups (Monthly hiking) - As per city/county guidelines
- Small group activities like kite flying etc.
Camping
- Movie nights with social distancing in outdoors with outdoor camping (per city/county guidelines)
- Backyard overnight camping (Virtual)
- Pinewood Derby race : at School parking lot with social distancing in small groups (rest of the scouts can join over Zoom) as per the school guidelines
- Community outreach : Food drive, COVID community outreach (In place and Pack will continue to create programs like creating care packets, hygienic products )
- Virtual Cakebook event (In Place)
- Arrow of light, B&G Dinner, and bridging ceremony

Pack 995 COVID community outreach project #3
Proud of our cub scouts for continuing their community outreach activities during COVID. Scouts in partnership with our community friends have made 160 masks from scratch and donated them to front line healthcare workers at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. Project successfully completed in June. Special Thanks to our community friends Masako, Diane and Rani for making this project a success !!

Pack 995 COVID Community Outreach Project # 2
Proud of Pack 995 scout families for successfully raising funds in our "Food Drive" effort to support 150 isolated seniors in City of San Ramon in partnership with "City of San Ramon Senior Center". Project successfully completed in May 2020

Pack995 is supporting food drive for Senior Center during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Proud of our cub-scouts doing their part to help fight Covid-19, collectively the pack donated 54 hand-made masks, 100 Care packets & Thank You messages to our dedicated health care workers.

Congratulations to all Pack 995 Webelos 2 scouts earning Arrow of Light rank and bridging to Boy Scouts.

Congratulations to our 2020 Pinewood Derby race winners. It was a fun and exciting race. Thanks to our scouts, parents and leaders for participating and all the volunteers that make this event possible. Special thanks to Frank and volunteers at the Pleasanton Senior Center for helping our scouts with the car carving.

December pack meeting is now on Wednesday 12/18 6:45pm-8pm.
