Vivalon After Dark, on Thursday, August 27, is an evening of true stories, new perspectives, and community. Inspired by The Moth, this welcoming event brings people of all ages together to share and listen.

Join us for a screening of No Place to Grow Old at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center on August 13 starting at 5:30 PM. This powerful documentary explores the growing housing crisis facing older adults and the urgent need for safe, affordable places to age with dignity. The film will be followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring local housing experts exploring housing challenges and solutions for older adults with a focus on​ West Marin.

"What are the most pressing housing and housing insecurity challenges facing older adults, and what practical solutions, partnerships, or policy changes could help people age safely and with dignity in their communities?"

Acclaimed West Marin photographer and creative director Sasha Gulish creates portraits that tell meaningful stories about people, place, and connection. Her documentary-style photography celebrates the lives, histories, and relationships that make our communities unique.

Sasha's work is featured in Peoples of West Marin Then and Now, presented alongside the Marin AgeWell Collaborative (formerly What About Age?) exhibition. Together, the exhibitions invite us to reflect on aging, resilience, and the connections that shape us across generations.

● 6:30 p.m. – Screening of the acclaimed PBS documentary Lives Well Lived, sharing the stories and wisdom of adults ages 75 to 100 through inspiring reflections on resilience, purpose, and what matters most in life.
