There is a little man (or sometimes another creature, see above) who lives inside the glass; it's our job to help liberate him.

Inspiration. After years of nothing, the kiwi vines appear to be making fruit — these little ones make me think “necklace,” or maybe just “earrings.”

Scenes from the workbench: sea urchin skeletons are sealed with shellac, painted with conductive paint, and plunged into the electrolyte tank where direct current draws copper out of solution and gives them a generous copper plating. These are drying after plating.
