It was our very first Oak & Acorn Valentine’s Day Celebration together!

So much of what made today special came from the love and care of our families. Thank you for helping create a day that was gentle, joyful, and full of connection.

We read together, sang together, shared tea and treats, practiced kindness and friendship, and sent everyone home with the sweetest Valentine bags filled with notes, art, and little gifts the children had been working on in the weeks leading up!

So grateful for this community and the way we show up for one another - every day, not just on holidays.

A community member shared an opportunity to support a local food pantry.

We put out a small box, shared the ask, and trusted that folks would bring what they could.

And this is what happened.

Between pantry donations and solstice sharing, our community showed up in the most thoughtful ways.

Moments like this remind me that Oak & Acorn is more than a school. It’s a community that shows up with open hands and full hearts.

We’re so grateful for you all. Thank you for showing up just as you are.🤍🌱

P.s. It was also really special to watch the children create offerings and wishes for the wildlife during our Solstice Sharing Day. They were giving so freely, gently, and with so much care. Those quiet moments felt like the heart of the season. ❤️ ❤️

Every time I find a new little treasure for Oak & Acorn, my heart skips a beat! Whether it’s a beloved Montessori material or a quirky gem that invites wonder, each piece is carefully chosen with your children in mind.
These goodies might look simple, but they’re full of possibility—tools for exploring, learning, imagining and growing.
I’m still gathering, still curating, still dreaming up a space that feels like home for our little community.

Welcome to Oak and Acorn Montessori! 🌿

We’re so excited to officially be planting roots and growing something beautiful here! Oak and Acorn is a small, heart-led Montessori school focused on hands-on learning, big feelings, tiny details, and the joyful, curious magic of early childhood.✨

Led by Miss Taran (that’s me!), this little school is a space for children to feel safe, seen, and supported as they learn and grow at their own pace—with nature, laughter, and community right at the center of it all.

We’ll be opening our doors this August—and tours will begin mid-July!
We can’t wait to welcome you in.
