The Bobcat Connection to the Video Game Industry
The association has been created in order to offer Texas State students an advantage while trying to break into the game industry. Through a better understanding about how the industry works as well as learning how to professionally approach those opportunities, our community strives to provide the networking and resources needed in order to give our members a clear direction as they move forward with their education.

This is an amazingly epic event that is open to the public. Some of Austin's biggest developers recap on the year that was far from the last.
Join IGDA Austin on January 4th at 7pm to look back at a great year in Austin gaming. Certain Affinity's president, Max Hoberman, will be on hand to give a post-apocalypse, post-mortem on Halo 4.

Texas State's first LoL competition hosted by Game Override and the VGIA
Wanted to throw out a reminder about Texas State .EXE's Team Fortress 2 party tomorrow on Campus:
When: Nov. 10 starting at 3pm
Where: MCS 590
Players are allowed to use their own accounts.
Players are allowed to bring their own laptops/systems/mouse/etc.
We will have desktops available for players to use.
We will have default accounts available to anyone who wishes to play, but does not have an account.
We will have our own server.
Food will be provided.
There is no entrance fee.

Hello all! We'll be having our meet-up on Friday at 5:00 pm and we wanted to remind everyone of the room change to LBJ SC 3.13.
We'll be discussing the two tournaments taking place next month, volunteering opportunities for SXSW Gaming Expo, game development opportunities within the group, involvement in the GameOverride.com network of content and shows, next semester's Bobcat Jam, and other great opportunities for students on campus.
