What began as compliance has evolved into commitment, became an expectation, and is now our standard. Achieving this level of success—five of the last six years—is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of our entire community.

After taking part in the state-wide Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Challenge, San Luis High School was awarded the 2024-25 large-school MVP for highest FAFSA completion rate.

The Sidewinders received the award for the fourth year in a row. They had 79 percent of their Class of 2025 complete their FAFSA as of May 7, leading the state of Arizona in its large enrollment category. The award comes from the Governor’s Office of Education, Arizona Board of Regents, and the AZ FAFSA Coalition, which has been monitoring schools’ progress since the FAFSA window opened December 1, 2024.

Seniors! Your High School counselors along with AWC will be holding a Workshop on campus. Speak to your English teacher if you have the following 3 things on Wednesday April 17th. FSA ID, Parent FSA ID and parent taxes from 2023. If you have all 3 things your English teacher will give you a pass to the PD room to complete your FAFSA.
