Well, they are actually learning. When toddlers connect, stack, twist, and line up those little counting cubes, they’re doing far more than “just playing.” They’re:
-Strengthening fine motor skills and grip
-Learning cause and effect
-Exploring color recognition and patterns
-Building early math sense through one-to-one correspondence
-Expanding language by describing what they see and do
-Practicing focus, patience, and problem solving
