Known as the “Father of Europe,” Charlemagne was a powerful king who united much of Western Europe during the Middle Ages. He valued education, encouraged learning, and helped preserve knowledge by supporting schools and scholars throughout his empire.

His leadership reminds us that wisdom and learning are essential for building strong communities. This summer, let’s continue growing in knowledge—just as great leaders throughout history did!

True learning extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. As our students enjoy their summer adventures, we hope they continue to ask questions, seek knowledge, and discover the world around them!

🏛️ Historical Figure Spotlight: Alexander the Great
Just because it's summer doesn't mean we have to stop learning!

At just 20 years old, Alexander the Great became king of Macedonia and went on to build one of the largest empires of the ancient world. His military strategy, leadership, and determination shaped history and helped spread Greek culture, philosophy, and learning across three continents.
Alexander’s story reminds us to study the past, seek wisdom, and consider the lasting impact that one individual can have on the world.

The final chapter of this school year has been written!

As we close another year of learning, growth, and virtue, we celebrate all that our students have accomplished. From mastering new ideas and exploring the great works of history and literature to building strong character and lasting friendships, this year has been filled with meaningful moments.

To our students, families, and staff—thank you for your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. We are proud of all that has been achieved and look forward to the adventures that await in the year ahead.

Ancient Olympics are almost here!

One of CRLA’s most beloved traditions returns on Tuesday, June 2! Our students will proudly represent different ancient countries as they participate in exciting games and activities inspired by the original Greek Olympics.

📍 Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:45 AM, and families are warmly invited to come cheer on our scholars as they showcase their country spirit, teamwork, and joyful performances!
As our school community continues to grow, this year’s Ancient Olympics will take place in two sessions:

Morning Session: AM TK & Grades 2–7
Afternoon Session: PM TK, Kindergarten & 1st Grade

This special event is entirely parent-run, and we are so grateful for our incredible volunteers who help make this unforgettable day possible. Thank you for helping us send our students into summer with fun, tradition, and lasting memories! 🇬🇷

Our 1st graders took learning beyond the classroom walls on their exciting field trip exploring the Cats of North America!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their bravery and devotion helped preserve the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today. 🇺🇸
