Meet our newest little member! David Osterlund carved this adorable gnome from a block of basswood. We love how the natural grain of the oiled wood sometimes peeks through the paint.

Great job, David!

While demonstrating woodcarving at Scout-O-Rama last weekend, Gil and Roy from Gilroy Gardens joined our woodcarving booth and lifted the spirits of scouts passing by. A sincere thank you to the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council, Scouting America and Scouting America for bringing everyone together for this Bay Area event.

Valentine's Day at Woodcraft San Carlos was all about love... for chip carving! Our woodcarving club demo (Debbie Mize & Roman Chernikov) filled the store with chips, whittles, and hands-on carving. A huge thanks to Woodcraft for the space and support.
