alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. - Xi Chapter at San Jose State

alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Xi Chapter of San Jose State University was established on April 8, 1995.

alpha Kappa Delta Phi was established at the University of California at Berkeley in the fall of 1989, and recognized by the College Panhellenic Association on February 7, 1990. The fourteen founding sisters: Betty Chu, Karin Co, Susan Kim, Nancy Lee, Sherri Leung, Annie Loo, Belinda Ma, Anita Ng, Serene Ngin, Fannie Pon, Josie Sun, Daisy Wu, Jill Yoshimura, and Reina Yuan, dedicated themselves to

establishing a strong and lasting organization, which would provide Asian American women the opportunity to participate in the Greek system. Soon after being recognized by the College Panhellenic Association, the founding sisters brought together a diverse group of women who shared with them the goals of sisterhood, scholarship, and leadership. These ideals were to later set the foundation for alpha Kappa Delta Phi's purpose. alpha Kappa Delta Phi Charter Class of San Jose State University was established on April 8, 1995. The charter class: Juliet Aguilar, Allia Cavero, Tina Flores, Dinna Gonzalez, Renelyn Hormigoso, Jeanne Moral, Yvette Suarez, and Katalina Tran created this sorority to promote community service, academic achievement, and most importantly, a strong sisterhood bond in the University and community. They have started a strong foundation for their ideas in which they hope to instill to future sisters. CREED: Love and Friendship

🌿Thursday, August 29th- Bring out your competitive side for a games night with the brothers of Pi Alpha Phi, Delta Chapter!

🌿Tuesday, September 3rd- Join us for a fun evening of DIY activities and light refreshments!

🌿Thursday, September 5th- Come support us for USFC Night and learn more about our council! (Meet at the Campus Village Housing Quad at 6pm!)
