🚨 Parent Workshop — Spots Filling Up 🚨

I’m hosting a live Zoom workshop later this month for families navigating the special education process, and we’re starting to fill up.

Understanding Your Child’s IEP: What Parents Need to Know

Over the years, I’ve worked as a special education teacher, assistant principal, district special education manager, and now advocate. One thing I see over and over is this:

👉 Many parents have an IEP… but were never really shown how to understand it.

This workshop is designed to change that.

In this 1-hour session, we’ll cover:
• The most important parts of an IEP
• How goals should actually be written
• What service minutes really mean
• Common mistakes schools sometimes make
• Practical ways to advocate for your child

📅 Saturday, March 28
⏰ 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
💻 Live on Zoom

💲 Cost:
• FREE for current Rudolph Advocacy Works families
• $40 per family for all others

If you or someone you know could benefit from this, I’d love to have you there.

Honored to present today at the CSEA Paraeducators Conference in Ontario, CA.

Paraprofessionals are the boots on the ground in education — supporting students, keeping classrooms running, and making inclusion possible every day.

Grateful for the chance to support the people who support our students.

Gen Ed access and FAPE aren’t just terms on a page—they directly shape your child’s school day.

Gen Ed access is about making sure your child has the opportunity to learn alongside peers, with the right supports in place. FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education) means your child has the legal right to an education that truly meets their needs, in the least restrictive environment possible.

When we look at an IEP or 504, it’s not only about minutes or services—it’s about whether those supports show up in your child’s real, daily experience at school. If your child isn’t meaningfully included in Gen Ed, or their plan doesn’t reflect what’s actually happening, that’s a signal to ask questions and revisit the team’s approach.

Schools have a legal obligation to staff appropriately—but far too often, they don’t.

🚫 Behavior Tech roles filled by untrained aides.
🚫 Special Ed teachers assigned outside their credential.
🚫 Speech or AAC services delivered without proper training.
🚫 Critical medical needs not covered by qualified professionals.

These aren’t small oversights—they’re serious violations that affect your child’s right to an appropriate education.

At Rudolph Advocacy Works, I’ve opened two final client spots for the 2025–26 school year. With 30-day IEP reviews coming up, now is the time to make sure your child is supported correctly.

✅ Free 30-minute consultation included. I’ll give you a clear diagnostic and honest advice, even if that means connecting you to an attorney or another expert.

📩 Message this page or visit my website to schedule your consult today.

Had a blast sponsoring the 15th tee at today’s Women’s Golf Tournament at Boulder Ridge! 🏌️‍♀️⛳

Honored to support this amazing event and connect with inspiring golfers, families, and potential future partners.

At Rudolph Advocacy Works, we believe in showing up—in education and in community. 💪 Let’s keep building bridges for families of students with disabilities.

From the classroom to the course — and still showing up for each other.

Had a blast golfing with Richie, one of my former students and players from my Pioneer High days. I’m all about long-term relationships — whether it’s supporting families through advocacy or reconnecting with students years later.

(And yes, we’re still working on his tee box game… peep that divot in pic 2 😂)
