The USS Kentucky submarine launched an unarmed Trident II balistic missile just west of LA early Saturday night so that thousands or even millions of people would see it, and post footage to the internet so maybe a billion people would see it. The military suggests it was just a normal missile test, but I'm sure we can all agree that THIS IS NOT NORMAL. We may be heading towards WWIII, but as of this weekend, Cold War II has begun.
Leigh winter percussion
. And it's loud naturally or electrically.
A group of percussionists on melodics, auxiliary percussion, electric instruments or marching percussion instruments, that perform inside a gymnasium on a floor mat that takes up most of the floor, during the winter.
This page is inferior to the group, so that is now the primary location, see it.
Hey all. The 1st practice is tomorrow and we don't have the basses or cymbals set yet. If your one of these musicians you should come tomorrow. Who knows, maybe you're in because only 4 others showed up, and are talented. The lines will be set soon I promise, and the music will come in very soon too, so come on in. And Make it worth it.
The first thing I would like to say is, "Congratulations everyone who made it into the winter battery!" The bass drum and cymbal section will be fully set by Monday after the first rehearsal, as I've been informed. Also, we have increased our tenor drum section by adding a 4th set, courtesy James Logan high school, and this one is a sextet set, if you know what I am talking about. Tonight was the parent meeting, and if your parents did not come, this may be an issue. Those of you who did not obtain a position in the marching battery shouldn't feel bad. The front ensemble, or "Pit," is one way to still be a part of the show, and the B-Pit is another way. So this show will be a great one, and you all know it, so put in the effort and it will be better than that. So, please come Monday, and ciao.
So, the first judgement day went very well. We almost have our full line. Don't give up now though, we have day 2 on Wednesday, and the entire season. If you make it in, that doesn't mean you can act laid back the rest of the winter, like some one did last year. You gotta push to the finish from the start, and work harder every day, because all that effort will pay off in the end. 2 years ago, Leigh's show, "Chronos," managed to be scored 1st place at most of the competitions, and it wasn't the easiness of the show that did, but the time put in. So to do as great or better, you must give it your all. Lastly, make sure your parents come to the meeting Thursday. That's all for now.
Well, hello all. Tomorrow is the first day of auditions for LWP 2012. It's at 5pm until 7pm in the band room, and the next day is Wednesday at the same time and place. You didn't necessarily have to have attended the first and/or second clinics last week to be in the winterline, but I would have recommended it. Although, It's unlikely to get a place in the program at all if your parents do not attend the parent meeting on Thursday at 6pm. If you make it past the auditions, the first practice is on the first of December. Hope to see you there.
Tomorrow is the 1st LWP clinic of the year. If you're interested in being in he winterline, I strongly recommend you attend this. There Mr. Weiss and the instructors will give you all detailed information about the whole season, so please make it!
So, who's ready?
